Welding Technologies - Two Year Program

Year 1 Program Overview: In Year 1 of Welding Technologies, students are introduced to the fundamentals of welding and metal fabrication. The course begins with safety and theory, then moves into hands-on practice using gas welding and electric arc welding to fuse metal pieces with precision and strength. Students also begin to explore the many career paths available within the welding and manufacturing industries.

Year 2 Program Overview: In Year 2, students advance their welding skills with a focus on industry application, career readiness, and certification preparation. Emphasis is placed on welding in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead) and working with various metals. Students refine their techniques and gain confidence through more complex projects and real-world scenarios.
